It has a very sensitive microphone. The distance between the receiver is the key. Overall it is good, especially for the use of daylight. RPM I bought this, add a few extra cameras to my existing system. I'm taking only one video channel left on my DVR and it worked very well because it only switch a channel between you and cameras.
