Ojha At first I started struggling to distinguish (preamplifier and amplifier) versus a receiver (the preamp and amplifier function is built into one unit) mode. I liked the flexibility of having separate components in case I decide to change the future, but simply do not have room in my environment multiple audio components, hence my choice has to look for receivers. There were many receivers to choose from and I found the Denon to be in my sweet spot for value, function, performance, aesthetics and simplicity. This beast of a receiver is one step below flagship Denon AVR-5308ci. The AVR-4810ci offers incredibly clean 9 channels of amplification, without breaking a sweat. The menu-driven GUI is getting used to, but after 4 or 5 is used, the menu becomes second nature. There are many inputs and outputs, and capacity to handle three subwoofers, along with nine channels for the front, up front and / or width, surround, surround and center channel allows for great flexibility with room for future expansion are six HDMI inputs (with one on the front behind the fold-down door). Integrated WiFi enables integration of other sources in your home network, no mess or fuss. Having access to Napster and Rhapsody integrated online is convenient and easy to use. Satellite radio (XM and Sirius) can be handled by this beauty that can shine in HD. The USB input lets you play back images or sounds. Freely assignable amplifier for bi-amplification areas, bi-wiring and multiple (up to 4) at home. This receiver can control your iPod on the screen via the digital USB connection directly. The setup is quick and easy, thanks to EQ Audyssey MultEQ XT room that the receiver all the time from the speakers and frequency response for up to eight positions, which is very useful to install if you have more than one person participating in the listening area Advanced AL24 Processing Multi Channel improved dynamic characteristics, so my sources sound phenomenal. 1080p via HDMI output makes Anchor Bay VRS Processing Advanced (with the ABT 2010 chip) and scalability make this an excellent all sources to look just beautiful! Also can convert your analog sources, and scaled up to 1080p! As usual, offers DENON Dynamic Discrete Surround Circuit (DDSC-HD), incredible detail and long-range sound, Burr-Brown digital audio converter for all channels 24-bit/192-kHz, and not just the front two. Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio ensure an impressive reproduction of your favorite Blu-Ray. As a bonus, you get two HDMI if you want the output in other rooms or to handle situations where it may have both a projector and a flat screen HDTV in your film of the "U.S." means that the receiver supports the integration of customized If you choose to do some advanced configuration or with the receiver professionally installed / integrated into your home. One thing I did not like this unit is the distance EL. I found the remote a little 'awkward to use and do not really use it to control both the receiver once the initial settings are (as I use my Harmony universal remote instead). I also think the user manual could use some changes to the flow of instructions easy to understand. I highly recommend this receiver and I do not regret my purchase, even for a second! Good luck with your choices and all, have fun! 9 of 9 people found this review helpful. A good design and many features.
