I've come to the conclusion that this is as close to perfect as I will find my needs right now. I use all 4 HDMI inputs (PS3, Oppo 980H, Directv HR20 and a Sony Vaio computer). Denon has worked perfectly with SACD, DVD-A and lossless audio sources from my BluRay movies. For sound quality, it is important to the speaker setup to get right. Denon's Auto Setup with the included microphone makes this a very easy installation. I've heard that it helps to measurements from all corners of the room, so I put five listening locations. The sound quality is fantastic. I have an SPL meter, but I have not had that the settings are fine-tuning. It sounds great already. The Oppo has the ability to send a DSD multi-channel signals of SACD and they sound fantastic on the Denon. I'm really not the climber video using a lot, because most symptoms are introducing HD already'm In other words, Denon above, sends signals untouched, so it's hard to complain. The ability to upgrade the firmware via internet connection is what I believe sets this receiver apart from the competition. For me this was the deciding factor. With all the technology in these new receivers, I do not want the thing to take a place of service every time you update. I must say that I have some music from my computer via the network interface, but it worked well. He took a few seconds to license information for Yahoo DRM music files to retrieve, but I bet to improve in the future. The disadvantages are small, but it should be mentioned. The remote is good for the system configuration, but it goes in a drawer with my other remotes, now I have my Harmony 880 universal programmed for all common functions I need. Moreover, the GUI some 'getting used to I like the ability to rename inputs and choose what video inputs go with audio inputs. But it was not something I made and installed in minutes. It's better than my old Denon AVR-3300, then at least going in the right direction! 36 of 38 people found this review helpful. Top performance at a reasonable price. From Desert Rat Once you have set performance and handling is everything you could want, with two exceptions. 1-When you use this with a DVD player and D-link to send SACD DSD signals to the AVR, the unit takes a little "to recognize the format of the signal was sent. It may take a couple tries to play SACD first of the two units to talk to each other. Sometimes, while this is being corrected, is the DSD signal to analog noise resulting in strong and can damage the speakers. 2 - There must be a unit of less intuitively easy to manage from a distance or other from somewhere, but I do not know when it might be. I do not think all the functions should --- once you see the user guide is of some use. Now the good stuff. There are an incredible number of devices that this side of the phone and usually drives (XM, iPod, USB (MPO3, WAV, WMF files), Internet radio can connecr. There are even tape recorder output, even if the Monitor no longer the old one. The most impressive feature for me is the automatic configuration and compensation chamber. I spent a lot of time and effort to do it manually with other products. J 'doubts about the functionality, but the Denon gets better results than I ever could even with SPL meter, RTA, etc. I've never built a subwoofer with key stakeholders to hear well. The software must be the difference in the distance, and delays and phase imaging only put out better than I would my colorful collection of speakers thought capable of receiving. 28 out of 29 customers found this review helpful. It has a very sensitive microphone. The distance between the receiver is the key. Overall it is good, especially for the use of daylight. The use of the night was a little disappointing. 9 of 11 people found this review helpful. Hot video of Elliott B. This product is hot to connector. Therefore the power to harass me. Video was not very good either, but it was very good for cam-type it is, and the cost factor. 3 of 3 people found this review helpful. Works pretty well. RPM I bought this, add a few extra cameras to my existing system. I'm taking only one video channel left on my DVR and it worked very well because it only switch a channel between you and cameras. Video is very good so far. Cameras inside, through three walls and about 75 'of the receiver I am very happy with them so far. See all 9 customer reviews ....

A return to form, Robert Swanson'ma fan of vintage stereo equipment, Marantz, 60s/70s their amplifiers, receivers and tuners were always well-made, stylish, and had a warm sound signature to them. This was during their days Saul Marantz and Super Scope. But in the '80s and '90s, was owned by Philips-branded, and their gear has never been exactly the same as is the quality, tone, and of course aesthetics. Nowadays the company is in the process of D & M Holdings (Enon "D" and "M" Arantza), and Marantz has returned to his former self, a particular attention is paid back in style (In this case, the classic design "portholes"), simplicity (two-wheel drive interface hidden logos of the features are on top of the unit to keep the front clean look) and facilities (the sr7005 packs a lot of sound, but fit a little "everywhere .) Above all, my fellow vinyl purists happy to hear the Marantz SR7005 brings back the MM phono stage with a floor! For a long time was the recipient (and not only with the Marantz brand), it was puzzling because the company logo will be made: Music Matters looks not to get too wordy here, so I'll just say this, I'm an avid Vintage audiophile, a FLAC, AIFF, mother and a semi-HT guru, and SR7005 does the trick. No buyers remorse here! A big step out of the Sony unit I DA5ES for home theater stuff that is only used for the same price in 2002. I'm with Aperion Intimus 5B Harmony SR7005 HD surround speakers usually use it for 2 CH music and the stuff is incredibly warm and especially sub-tweak location (just pure analog mode 2CH W, Pro Logic II / DTS Neo: 6 : To compensate for music, movies and game mode, a mode for lossy MP3 files, which sounds pretty good). With film, you do XT Audessy worked beautifully and accurately. The latest version can not Audessy and "only" a 71-receiver, but I can live. Blu-ray/DVD movies sound and look great. Another thing to note, as this amp cranked never distorted for me, with some speakers (I also ran a pair of vintage Henry Kloss Advent speakers), which is proof of the hardware. If your receiver is deformed or upset, it's nonsense. My few complaints: no S-video input, which is a disappointment for my N64 and SNES things that I would like to draw on one day. And while it seems all companies are doing these days, I can not stand the digital volume control, you must keep turning and turning to reduce or increase the volume. Granted the volume to start at a certain db program, but I would rather be analog, with a finite 0 and the maximum volume in barrels. Other pleasantly surprised: you can use blue ring and the "valve" set to "off" if you find it disruptive to the eye. Airplay is rad! Spend $ 50 and you can connect and operate the SR7005 via iTunes You can also use the Marantz control over your free iPhone application. You can also disable the input modes shown so that when you switch to the data with the left button, you do not have to go through items that are not in use. Salazar I ran my Denon 4802 for about 10 years and finally decided to upgrade to an HDMI switching receiver. I'm still a Denon, but I like the sound of my Marantz receiver I walk into another room / children, SR5003, and thought I would give them a look too. In short, I draw on the SR7005. I did this not only for audio engineering, as well. I was a little surprised to see that is slightly higher than the Denon Marantz years, but not surprised, I suppose, because they are of the same company later, the Marantz HDMI 1.4a specification, which is really beautiful and offers support for 3D . Fantastic for both audio and visual by Thomas Wilde, I got mine for a few months and I am completely satisfied with your purchase. At first I had my doubts, because I've always been a very expensive component systems. This is my fourth Yamaha receiver, but the others I used for the kids and the whole house stereo system. I had just switched from a 9 "CRT projector on a Panasonic LCD projector 3000, and decided to go all-digital was fine. I have weeks reading reviews, download both the user and service manuals for dozens of makes and models . When all was said and done, that decision was really pretty simple. This thing has almost everything a man could want. I have a large dedicated theater is designed for both landscape and listening to music or watching movies on a 120 "display. I have carefully assembled a system that does both without problems, and do not want to ruin the top when it came to this purchase, this was as close as I could hope for. Mind you, not as good as my old system when it comes to sound. But then my power amp alone was $ 4500 and could feed a normal speaker in full size cinema. This has a lot of power for my nine speakers. It's just a hair less detail in the sound. Before I could hear if a pianist was not completely cut her nails, because you could hear a click when the environment ends at the ivory piano keys. It does not quite get there. That said, my wife likes it much better because he hated to hear every little detail, in particular, to poor mixing and microphone for recording so many. He especially hated listening to the vagaries of playing Paganini Midori - Midori felt his fingers slip into place when my wife had spent years thinking that being one of the best performances ever. She's back to the love of power, and I must say I like it better than a little detail can be overstated, because you get the bad with the good. As for the video, this thing leaves nothing to be desired. One of my DVD player is an Oppo 981, which always gets good reviews and is an excellent player, especially for the older DVD upscaling to 1080p. At first I just wanted them to pass the signal straight through without any change. After back and forth a lot of time I actually chose to have the receiver to convert everything from analog and digital sources. It's done a great job and I have no complaints. That said, there are so many possibilities and opportunities it will almost to the point of being frustrating. How to enable visitors to listen to music in a Munich cathedral or church in Freiburg pop, it's easy to find what you really love to lose. My suggestion is to relax in a chair, close your eyes and ask someone to make changes in the parameters of selection so you really have the best setting for those who build their system instead of something of lesser quality ( that most of the units out there), or those who were like me and had enough to drag the massive components that take up space and generate heat, which has something more for all to enjoy. The possible negative aspects of the unit are: need at least a couple of inches of ventilation in the upper air circulation (up only a fan could call 120 or 90 mm computer case, if things are very small), as most receptor on the remote control (actually, there are two remote controls that comes with (full function model and another stripped)) could be better and could have a bit of trial and error, for those like me who are accustomed to having more than one subwoofer is designed for this one (although my 15 Earthquake Supernova marble "almost hit the wall in the bathroom when I was watching the latest version of War of the Worlds) 01/29/2010 Just wanted to say that I

When it comes to security cameras many of us want an easy alternative to running the cable in our homes or businesses. 900-MHz and 2.4GHz analog signal products made that possible. But as wireless devices proliferated in these frequency ranges security cameras often were subject to interference and instability for image and sound. Now you can enjoy true zero-interference wireless observation with Swann's ADW300 Digital Wireless Camera Kit. The camera is housed in an all-weather casing and can be mounted indoors or outdoors. The receiver connects to any audio/video input device. Connect it to your home theater screen and use the PIP function to see who is at the door; or monitor the kid's playroom; or keep an eye on the pool. In a business environment this camera is ideal for watching public areas or rear doors, parking areas, etc. The camera has zoom, pan and tilt controls giving you some flexibility on what and how you see things. Using Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology this camera kit is truly interference free. Microwave ovens, cordless telephones, internet routers, bluetooth devices, nothing interferes with it. Your privacy is guaranteed as the signal is encrypted and cannot be eavesdropped on. See Opinion at the end of the review for a better alternative. I bought two of these for use in my existing monitoring systems. Base stations needed to separate so I could get a complete picture video in each of the two channels on my existing DVR / multiplexer. It is true that they are very easy to install and that the level of interference in the wireless signal is close to zero when you have a high enough signal strength. Unfortunately, I stopped RMA'ing both houses of different reasons, because they waited too long to return my money. Probably will end up trying to sell them on ebay or something. A camera of problems: 1. Only appears in the BW 2nd The video is in order. Which has a thick black border on the sides and top of the frame. 3rd When light falls, never turn on the IR. Troubleshooting tried: switching power supplies has no effect on the problem of the B camera problems: 1 When he turns to dark, the brightness of the video pulses continuously, so that the motion sensor to think that DVR is the movement of the whole night. 2nd Radio signal strength dropped dramatically in the first week or two. It is up to the base station, which is originally connected with only occasional signal dropout, he must now work very close to the base station (next door). Troubleshooting tried: I tried to move, to the base station is much closer to the camera location and B can not log in until just a few meters. If I had a camera to the camera location B install camera easily connects to a base station, which, although much further. In an unrelated question, I had some difficulties to hold the two base stations to a signal with their camera when the other is closer to the base stations. It does not seem to matter, but the couple that are closer together seems to cause the second pair, and a small video to wireless generally falling: It's not a bug, in particular, I've changed my mind about the value of use of wireless, because regardless of quality, it's a pain to power is the location of the camera anyway, so you might as well just an AV extension cable, low voltage, audio and video running on your site assembly. It is not that much extra hassle associated with power supply only there and then you have no problems with wireless signal, etc. Regarding infrared illumination in general: I've also noticed that you are much better with extremely low Lux bullet cams and jump is infrared light. Looking for a hard-wire camera that can look at something like 0.008 lux or less teams, you'll be much happier. 6 of 7 people found the following review helpful. Easy to use and configure not satisfied with the product or the company behind the product for KI Bower purchased the product in a store on the way back from the sea about 80 miles from home. I thought the worst cases, the company stood behind their product. When I put it, that was easy! The picture of the day was great and I like it. The image of time is less than some of the time 'to be desired. There is a bar washed white through the center of the screen. It is a failure, (read online reviews of the product) in the design of the camera. Something reflects and causes distortion. I called and sent to the company. They insisted that I ride for 80 miles and return to the store where I bought it. They also said it was a mistake for the user with the way I was creating something. E-mail messages to prove it. I've saved for instances of this type. But Swann has lost a customer with the way they handled this. It uses the camera for daytime use. If you are looking for a night camera somewhere else I would just look my opinion. 5 of 6 people found this review helpful. Poor choice of E. Hawkins bought to use.

Review from Home Theater Magazine Review from HomeTheaterMag.com: Denon AVR-4810CI In audio for home theater, the trend is downsizing. The slimming of displays has pushed a complementary response in surround systems. Soundbar speakers are rushing to market like logs speeding down a tumultuous river, with sat/sub sets bobbing alongside them. So this seems like an odd moment to supersize a Class AB A/V receiver.Read the full review at hometheatermag.com

Ojha At first I started struggling to distinguish (preamplifier and amplifier) versus a receiver (the preamp and amplifier function is built into one unit) mode. I liked the flexibility of having separate components in case I decide to change the future, but simply do not have room in my environment multiple audio components, hence my choice has to look for receivers. There were many receivers to choose from and I found the Denon to be in my sweet spot for value, function, performance, aesthetics and simplicity. This beast of a receiver is one step below flagship Denon AVR-5308ci. The AVR-4810ci offers incredibly clean 9 channels of amplification, without breaking a sweat. The menu-driven GUI is getting used to, but after 4 or 5 is used, the menu becomes second nature. There are many inputs and outputs, and capacity to handle three subwoofers, along with nine channels for the front, up front and / or width, surround, surround and center channel allows for great flexibility with room for future expansion are six HDMI inputs (with one on the front behind the fold-down door). Integrated WiFi enables integration of other sources in your home network, no mess or fuss. Having access to Napster and Rhapsody integrated online is convenient and easy to use. Satellite radio (XM and Sirius) can be handled by this beauty that can shine in HD. The USB input lets you play back images or sounds. Freely assignable amplifier for bi-amplification areas, bi-wiring and multiple (up to 4) at home. This receiver can control your iPod on the screen via the digital USB connection directly. The setup is quick and easy, thanks to EQ Audyssey MultEQ XT room that the receiver all the time from the speakers and frequency response for up to eight positions, which is very useful to install if you have more than one person participating in the listening area Advanced AL24 Processing Multi Channel improved dynamic characteristics, so my sources sound phenomenal. 1080p via HDMI output makes Anchor Bay VRS Processing Advanced (with the ABT 2010 chip) and scalability make this an excellent all sources to look just beautiful! Also can convert your analog sources, and scaled up to 1080p! As usual, offers DENON Dynamic Discrete Surround Circuit (DDSC-HD), incredible detail and long-range sound, Burr-Brown digital audio converter for all channels 24-bit/192-kHz, and not just the front two. Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio ensure an impressive reproduction of your favorite Blu-Ray. As a bonus, you get two HDMI if you want the output in other rooms or to handle situations where it may have both a projector and a flat screen HDTV in your film of the "U.S." means that the receiver supports the integration of customized If you choose to do some advanced configuration or with the receiver professionally installed / integrated into your home. One thing I did not like this unit is the distance EL. I found the remote a little 'awkward to use and do not really use it to control both the receiver once the initial settings are (as I use my Harmony universal remote instead). I also think the user manual could use some changes to the flow of instructions easy to understand. I highly recommend this receiver and I do not regret my purchase, even for a second! Good luck with your choices and all, have fun! 9 of 9 people found this review helpful. A good design and many features. By robdawg_one I have owned this receiver for about 2 months now and I can say that this is the top speed gears and really seems to have it all, there is no way that you would be disappointed with the functionality it offers, but this.

So if you can wait to buy, keep an eye on the prize. The sound is good and there are wireless speakers, but speakers are easy to connect. The wireless connection is ideal for streaming video from Netflix. I love this feature. If you have set-top box via the HDMI cable connects the box to an HDMI input on the system by LG. So you can connect the HDMI output from an HDMI input on the LG TV. You do not have a digital optical out cable if you connect via HDMI. The guidance of the system to configure Stink, but you can get a good support by calling their support line. Advantages: price, sound, image, wifi streaming video if you subscribe to Netflix, Vudu, etc. Cinemax, I connect POD, Blu-ray DVDs. Good telephone support Disadvantages: The remote is not a learning remote, so there is no switch on the device to your TV or cable box manual for information on my review of 18 April 2011 Update. LG has updated the software on this system and includes additional premium and Amazon VOD applications. I have the LG to my Mac computer in the network and I can play my music and pictures files on my TV. NICE! Amazon now has the best price on the system under $ 400.00. Buy it! 16 of 16 people found the following review helpful. A lot of bang for the buck I normally would have ponied D. Goolsby to a real AV receiver and speaker setup, but my biggest problem was that I did not have space to fit a big Onkyo receiver. And in that little room I'm in, the little 5.1 system I had decided to fine at the moment, so I look around and see what I could get, which was smaller in size. Almost all of my options had Blu-Ray with them, I do not really need because I have a PS3, but I decided, what the hell I have to buy this mainly due to an HDMI 5.1 system, that my old equipment was using optical cables. In addition, the new DD and DTS ® is a fix for me and for all it's cheaper than buying a real AV receiver + speakers. I'm pretty impressed with this very system, it has a lot of bang for the buck. Be to start with, that my BD player is now standard, simply because it runs at startup, and a film is much faster than going through the PS3. Coupled with an HDMI switch, I have a total of 5 devices on my DVR, a PS3, Xbox 360, HTPC and HD-DVD player. If you do not have any kind of a box or HTPC for playing video and / or streaming, this device will care for your needs. It plays MKVs and Avis fine from a network or USB device, including music files, has an app for online radio streaming, which I love, and an update last week, she added Amazon Instant Video playback, which is good for my free Amazon Prime videos In the end, I still use my HTPC for my videos to play, because it gives me more features and options, but it's good as a backup and I still use it for my first online Streaming Playback. The online resource is missing, is Hulu. There are Netflix, Vudu, and Amazon. (Among others) I have not tried the built-in radio because the stations I listen I listen via online streaming app, but this unit has an AM receiver, unlike most other devices out there, so if you want your sport Radio / news / talk stations, you have access. I was impressed with the LG SW updates, there was an update already when I pulled the device out of the box two or three weeks ago and an update last week that a number of functions, which is still to make things better added It comes with an iPod / iPhone dock, I tried my iPod, but I tested my iPhone 4 and plays back ok. Unfortunately, all reproduction is controlled from the player himself, not the LG. You want to mess with the sound modes, because I use Natural Plus TV (two channels of audio mixes to the file.

Iverson has been stupid enough to sign up for Dish Network is based solely on the availability of this SlingLoaded DVR. As a longstanding member of the Slingbox I imagined it would be nice to have features of a DVR with integrated Slingbox. What a big mistake! It turns out that the ability to consciously cripled integrated Slingbox from Dish Network, so you can use SlingPlayer desktop client with VIP-922 (feature is disabled), dish requires access via their website and use the buggy and Slow Flash-based, rather SlingPlayer. This is a problem if you use 64-bit Windows and Internet Explorer as the web-based SlingPlayer is not supported on Windows 64-bit (Sling recommends using SlingPlayer desktop that can not be used with VIP-922). I know Sling has tried to convince people to use their SlingPlayer browser for a while ', but I never liked and always preferred the SlingPlayer desktop because of its low impact on screen real estate that does not support SlingPlayer desktop client has been a big disappointment for me. To add insult to injury, according to the 922 VIP customers announced UPnP / DLNA is cripled well. I was hoping he could replace my old Buffalo LinkTheater with VIP 922 for playback of video files are hosted on my home network, but the VIP 922 is really not support playback of video (audio only, and the images seem to work), although the introduction / help screen on the device itself suggest that the video playback is possible (I suspect that they disabled the ability at some point) when I asked the support of video file shows that I kept thinking I was trying to copy the recorded programs off DVR, showing that you really do not understand UPnP / DLNA. It seems that everywhere I went I ended up disappointed with this DVR in terms of features than other DVR I've used I thought it was Ho Hum. As it turns out the biggest problem for me was the lack of fine video / audio controls: 1. The menu program guide ran to the edge of the area with guided visualization, which ended quite badly bleeding outside the visible area on the TV screen. There was no set-up to the image of the DVR, so I could not see the logos / channels on the left side of the Guide. There was never a problem with the previous decoder, and I can not say if it was just poor interface design of the Dish Network or a problem with video output. 2nd The system could not control the sound so that it would send audio via HDMI, even though we were with optical output. This caused an annoying echo if the volume was not rejected on TV since the audio signal to be sent to the TV and receiver, which should have insisted on using component cables, but the installer really wanted to use HDMI support dish network is unable to help us find the way to control audio output, although it appears that this control should be available in the menu, let's say that the menus were not exactly easy to navigate then it is possible that this control is available (the same goes for video), but I had to leave after a couple of hours over a couple of days. In general, I must say something about the Dish Network customer service: I have never dealt with a company whose approach to customer service is so antagonistic. I realized in less than a day I had made a mistake by purchasing the VIP 922. They insisted that the problem was with me and I needed to work with technical support to find out what I was doing wrong. Most people with whom I spoke were not using the Sling Loaded technology, and I spent much time to explain again, which is a Slingbox and works as it should (and why VIP 922 did not work for me) only fell once agreed take was VIP-922 and replace it with a conventional DVR.

Customer most helpful reviews 75 of 78 people found the following review helpful. Optimum receiver, excellent audio and video, but software errors .. Tech Junkie I got this two weeks ago, so this is a preliminary report: From my testing so far: Pros: 1. Big sound, dramatic improvement (positive) over the previous Denon 1508 I had this configuration. 2. Video: The up-conversion to HDMI from any source is good and smooth. (In the worst case test cable to 1080p does not look good and is more grainy than I wanted, but standard DVDs look fantastic on my 1080p Panasonic plasma with this receiver). 3. Audussey institution: it was very easy (only took about 10 minutes) and once done, had done a good job of measuring distances and capacities of speakers, I (Martin Logan Aeons forward, Vignette for the center, for ML Grotto the sub, but a low-end Polk Audio to about my setup in 5.1), and properly set up so that the energy compared to the speakers. I can see the difference in one of the chairs in my fourth listening settings. On screen GUI: dramatic improvement in my previous Denon / Marantz, etc. Again, this works perfectly, and the graphical user interface, although it may be better, good enough for most people. 5. Remote control: key distance, so get used to it, is great. Now I could have my Panasonic TV remote control and remote control my DVD player and use only one remote control effortlessly. I have a Harmony remote that I stopped using for a long time, and this distance is better than the Harmony remote, in my experience (one simple reason is that the harmony remember the state of the team and expects you to use only always the remote, so if you do manual, for example, walk to the TV, and harmony is confusing!). Again a big improvement over previous models Denon / bottom. 5. Network access / firmware: only these features is a plus (BUT. .. I had many problems with this - I'm covering continued) 6. IPod direct connectivity with USB Input Front biggest yet (I was able to connect both the iPhone first Gen, and iPod video iPod nano and 5 third-generation and use them properly using the on-screen menu). There is a method of audio accessory that enhances the music compressed in MP3 format ("restorer" - has 4 modes - off, or no treatment, 64 and 96bit HQ - High Quality) 7. More voices - 6 HDMI inputs, there is also a set of entries before - HDMI, Composite, USB inputs for convenience. 8. Not too hot! I tried to run it - a higher volume on my sub-4 ohm Logan Martin and sweat no! The receiver gets hot but not too hot it will burn your fingers! This is a big reason I bought this receiver - my experience with other brands rececivers was pretty bad - 75 to 90 watts / channel, these receptors travel from my house fuses often Denon (both my old 1508 on 75 watts and 4310 watts to 130 ) is admirably well in this regard and I have no complaints - only praise for the handling of exceptional power and efficiency now CONS Denon and the problems I encountered: 1. Poor access unfinished, mediocre Web - while you can change fonts, perform the configuration of components, see the multi-zone control, volume control etc with the help of [...] (browser) access) is very primitive - no one expected a $ 2000 receiver. 2nd NET / USB and other networks: Several wrong here - I'll try a couple, but I'm not ready yet to find them! A. Does not recognize all the drives in the NAS home network sees only the Windows Media server on the net! So, to play music in a NAS drive, I need to add only a library of WMP and then I can play that Denon is more a feature request bug. b. While browsing the list of songs / albums etc, there is no page up / page down keys, and so get an entry at a time and a lack of research is a pain when you have thousands of songs. C. It is a small error in reading the media server / files USB: While the display after a minute or two, sleep.

I have the Samsung Walsh LN52A-650 LCD TV and BD-P1600 Blu-Ray. I have wireless internet access at home. Initially, I had a real problem getting the BR player to connect to the internet. Would find the SSID, but never mind. When I configure the manual entry and all the requested information, which failed the ping test. After hours of troubleshooting, I found a piece of information on the web, and said that the SSID can not have characters or spaces in the ID. There were spaces in SSID name, so when I fixed that connects without problems. I do not need to buy a new wireless router. What seemed to be the main solution to this problem to others on the web. But I do not go through the hassle of configuring a new wireless router, nor did I have money to spend on one end, I did not. All 613 reviews ....

Excellent sound quality, inputs for almost everything, and decent meals for the construction and operation of the receiver. The amplifiers provide a very good sound, not as good as my MacIntosch system, but not bad for the money. Construction is good and it runs pretty cool to be in a somewhat enclosed area. Technical support is good that some waiting when you call. Now for the bad. I've now tried three AVR 3310CI receiver, a function that retrieves. I believe that most if not all the questions I have is due to firmware problems as the hardware seems to work well. I would try to update the firmware, but there are also problems with this function, because it takes an eternity (many hours) and most of the time it is closed or suspended in the middle of the download / update process, so you can to try and try again. My first unit was eventually to hang in a state that it could not update the firmware and as a result, the recipient was an unsuccessful attempt during this time other features were not available. According to Denon, there was the phone to this problem and suggested that I not return to the store and send it for repair, but I am responsible for transportation. My second (and third Saturday how I drive) has two out-of-the-box issues. The first is when you turn the radio on the Internet I get a "Please Wait" window. Sometimes the system crashes and I can recover. Recently installed in my unit last weekend, I immediately got the message and waited 15 minutes or more and still no solution. I turned on / off the device and after a while the message went away and I was able to use the Internet. The second problem is selecting the menu button configuration. The menu is fine, but within 5 seconds starts to go weaker and weaker, and to the point that you can not see the menu on the TV screen, this was done with unit number 2 and 3. I'm afraid a firmware update because of many problems I had with the first unit, and I was told others the same problem (also Denon recognizes this and advised me to update it) had to do. I have spent many hours on the phone with Denon techies and they said to send the unit back and they will fix it. But I have to pay for the shipping costs (estimated at $ 50). I refuse to do this in out-of-the-box problems. These are not normal failures and design problems. So right now I think of switching to another model and hope that a more stable construction. Another area in terms of search and general navigation functions on the Internet. Given the price of the AVR 3310CI this feature could be much more sophisticated as the current function is pretty basic, found 20 of 21 people this review helpful. Not bad, but the Get It On Sale By Jimmy B. I had been away from Denon and other brands for a while. In the end I decided on this unit because of its features and price. I recommend the Denon website to compare various models XX10CI. So far I have been happy with my purchase. It has a variety of functions including conversion to all HDMI inputs, HD Radio, Sirius capable, 5 HDMI inputs, 3 audio zones, and new assign digital inputs / analog. The ability to assign different audio and video inputs on the fly has become something very useful, I did not expect. The overall sound quality has been excellent so far. A disadvantage is the menus can be a bit slow to navigate through, and the GUI is not very sharp out. Absolutely not Sony XMB, but it is functional. If I wanted to look cool menus with sound expensive, I would have bought a Sony that features this unit has two HDMI outputs (I really did not foresee.

How many pieces of hardware sitting there? A TV, a cable box, maybe DirecTV, a CD player, maybe a docking station for iPod. DVD player? Blu-ray? Old video? AirPort Express for AirTunes, maybe? How about a PS3, an Xbox, a Wii? Apple TV? Slingbox? Hulu player? Mac mini season by the media? How many speakers do you have? 5? 7? 9? Perhaps there are speakers in other parts of the house, and want to watch TV here and listen to music there? Like satellite radio, Pandora? How about XM HD? Of course, all the hardware front, just bought yesterday, right? No? HDMI, Component, S-video, analog video coaxial cable, coaxial digital video - as the format you have? Your TV - is 1080p or 1080i? What about sound? All digital? Digital optical, digital coaxial - or have one of the old RCA plugs? Red / left / right? Or are we talking about a full surround setup? (Maybe you're like me and have a pair of bookshelf monitors Tannoy legacy, coaxial cones, a bi-amplified sound fantastic and perhaps the last sentence sounded like the ravings of a lunatic.) Do not know what you have. And not the good people of this Onkyo So in a big box, they shut Doggone many solutions as you could possibly need. For video, the six HDMI inputs, and send them to one or two outputs, a head (and if necessary a sub-) output. UpCode can be turned off, or something upcoded can automatically, or you can make anything into a UpCode Rez. (As my old TV only 1080i supports me the opportunity to ride up and down coding to that size had the bottom line of Onkyo's just UpCode to 1080 and who would not have worked.) There are also about a trillion other ways to feed the video from the best, and you can configure the device to an input link to a button on the remote. For example, I coded my PS3 to "game" track, while my DirecTV box is "CBL / SAT". The machine is fully HDMI 1.4 4a consistently, the future is 3D work right out of the box, and supports HDMI audio back, although if you really know what you do not want it for audio, there are two audio coaxial or optical digital audio-3 can gazillion to one RCA audio inputs strengthen them and guide them to the output of the speakers. If you have a 9.2 surround Super, R, L, center, R / L before high R / L broad front R / L Surround R / L surround back and a set or two powered sub like: in this box is there to do the job. But in this case there is no substitute amplifier for Zone 2 or 3, which means you need a separate power amp to power these various areas. If you want areas under stress, you have to sacrifice some of your surround speakers. For me, I wanted 5.1 surround with the front speakers bi-amping (tweeter and woofer are each driven fronts with a different amp), I lost Powered Zone 2 and Zone 3, I still have power. Zone 3 routes to a pair of outdoor speakers on my deck so I can jazz with Pandora Internet (ah, Thelonius my old friend) to relax while watching my wife, cackling idiots on Project Runway in all its terrible glory, you have to hook the machine up to a hub connected to your Internet connection, a gateway, and it has become a cable connection. (I use an AirPort Express to my wireless home network with a CAT6 cable that connects the Pioneer Bridge, this setup has the added benefit of AirTunes, which has a mini-jack cable (or 3.5 mm mini optical toslink, your choice is) my iTunes library to the amplifier, and this process can get from my Mac laptop or iPhone can be controlled.) Wow, that technical. Thank God Onkyo menu is easy to read and easy. I would say, make sure the Internet is connected and actively serve your Onkyo Onkyo before you first, or you.

By YoungJack I have owned Denon in the past, and have always found it to be quality Audio gear Now that I need a Home AVR it was to no surprise after taking a 5 or 6 weeks to decide I went with Denon AVR990 / 3310IC I wanted to go with Pioneer SC-25 at it was the Model that I was impressed with, and my needs to have Phono Input - with an input stage (the amplification part for Phono) would sound great! - but I settled for the Denon as I got a better price - not sure what the sound difference is, as I did not have a side by side comparison, but I absolutely love the Denon AVR 990 Phono Input stage, with my JVC QL-Y55F - with GRADO G-2 Cartridge - sounds MUCH better than my CD's that I have the same Copy on both, It is a fun test for when people that come over to see how suspired the Vinyl records sound fuller and richer than CD's - also my speakers are also my speakers are Magnepans (full-range ribbon) - that helps Anyway - the sound is Amazing, and I am very happy with my purchase, as my Previous model for the last 6 years was Harman Kardon - so I wanted to make sure the new model sounded as good or better than my last - as you may have noticed, I felt not go back to Harman Kardon - not because I did not like sound or quality! - The fact is the late models have had Known Issues, I felt better stepping away from that brand for now at least & Denon & Pioneer certainly fit in that category in my opinion Key Points for me are as follows: True HD & DTS-HD Master Audio Decoder AL24 Processing 7 Channel Discrete Mono Amp Construction Audyssey Dynamic EQ room acoustic correction system Onboard HD Radio (even AM) Network Capability Compressed Audio Restorer (for when I do stream in lower quality stuff like MP3's) Now on a negative note: I cannot understand why after using the Very Nice Included Audyssey Dynamic EQ room acoustic correction system I cannot set the Base management for each IE: HD Radio set to -2 or the DVD set to +4 & Phono to Flat? So yes every time you change the setting in the base management, it goes for all Please keep in mind I am more about the Music, & given that is the only negative I could think of after owning it now for 4 months, I feel this is a great choice for me 2 of 2 people found this amazing Chris Boyd The best stereo I have ever owned. Pioneer takes the yellow jersey in Mid-Range receptors WDH Despite the disappointing announcement of his departure from the arena and out of the plasma that house blu ray, Pioneer seems to have taken a bold step for the target market highly competitive mid-end. Denon and Onkyo models launched connectivity in highly competitive $ 700 price range is the video processing, even excellent, broadcast media, and spacious. My recent review of Denon AVR891 confirmed its continuous line of competitive products, but we regret that there was no approach sometimes used by Swiss army knife imperfectly Onkyo (the 891 has no internet, streaming, sound processing in width, and connectivity panel Rear Base). That said, the use of ABT chip Denon (started last year with ABT in 2010 and continued this year with ABT-2015) was my favorite video processing AVR (which did more than Reon XV Farjouda chips, and lower spec'd chips ABT) has the property in 1120 the successor of both the elite (21) and not the elite form (9040), I am always impressed by its performance, quality and design. That said, lacked what quickly became basic featureset in 2009 (setting width or height of the existence of only four HDMI inputs, only analog video processing). 1120, the younger brother of the VSX-1020 has a pretty high bar for 1120 from bar to Internet radio, iPhone control, HDMI and six, and the width / height processing in a stylish package generally available for $ 500. That said, 1020 was a very effective compotent and receiver input level, but lacked some of the longest legs speaker for large rooms or thirst. Enter the 1120th In 1120 shares the same deep chassis 9140 and Elite 21 with about 17 "deep, it is nearly four inches deep and four pounds heavier than 1020th There is also more than two inches deep and four and a half pounds heavier than the Denon the 891st Designed is conservative and is almost identical to last year 9040 with a front fascia that male and square. The pop-out front panel has a USB port for iPhone and iPod playback, HDMI connection and the setup microphone. HDMI input is a nice gesture for camcorders and other temporary connected inputs (Onkyo 708 with similar features, while rear-mounted six Denon has HDMI inputs). The converse is also similar to last year 9040, but four other speaker terminals have been added in height and width of processing (Pioneer MCACC widespread, because the value is auto-calibration software does not have Audyssey DSX). It is important that Pioneer 9.1 Pre-outs for those who use an external amplifier. Unfortunately, this compound is removed from Denon AVR2311, 891, and a natural competitors for the 1120 prize only the remote control is very similar to the layout in 1020, but is clear and includes XM and Zone 3. While the Pioneer remote is not as easy to spot with similar buttons small compared to the Denon, and learning is backlit, which is a step 891/2311/991/3311. Onyko offers a distance learning TX NR708, but not fully illuminated. The receiver with MCACC setup is quick and easy, but each MCACC setup measures the white noise and reverb speakers of only one point of a memory while the Denon Audyssey MultEQ measures contain multiple locations.
